Introduction

To add another layer of engagement and clarity during virtual presentations, Zoom offers its users the option to annotate. This feature enables presenters and participants to highlight and emphasize critical points on the shared screen or whiteboard. Notably, annotation is only available when users share their screens or enable the whiteboard function. The best part is that you can access these useful tools without creating an account beforehand. In the following sections, we will delve into the specifics of how to annotate Zoom and make the most out of Zoom's annotation feature.

How to annotate on Zoom?

Zoom's annotation feature can be accessed in two ways - by sharing your screen or using the whiteboard. Both options enable users to deliver more engaging presentations. With a variety of tools at your disposal, such as Select, Text, Draw, Stamp, Spotlight, Eraser, Format, Undo, Redo, Clear, and Save, Zoom's annotation feature allows for precise and creative emphasis on critical points.

1. Annotate on Zoom Using Screen Sharing

  • To begin using Zoom's annotation feature, first launch a meeting and click on the Share Screenicon located at the bottom of the meeting page.
